We have GWRRA friends needing our prayers


NC-X2 Wilkesboro members Beth and David Aben were in an accident on the parkway this week. They are both in the hospital in Boone, Beth in ICU and David with 6 broken ribs and a problem with one of his lungs. If you'd like to call them, phone number for the hospital is 336-362-4100. Just ask to speak to either of them and the switch board will put you in touch with them. David is currently in room 235 but may be switching to another room. That's all we know right now. Keep them in your prayers, they need them.


NC-T2 Albermarle great member Mary Murdock had been battling ALC for four years and her battle ended on October 10th around 2:00 AM. There will be a family only private service for Mary Murdock on Wednesday the 14th private family service at Saron Baptist Church. All invited to graveside service at 2;00 at Norman Cemetery. Norman Cemetary is a rural family with no street address.


NC District MEPC Charles and Sue Langley announced that it is with a very sad heart that I am letting you know that Charles has been diagnosed with bladder cancer again. However, it is with a very glad heart that we know that you will join us in prayer and thanksgiving for him. His surgery is scheduled for Monday, October 12th. Thank you for your faithfulness in believing with us that this will be another testimony to God's goodness. All of you are wonderful family and we love you more than you will ever know. NC-D Greenville A.J. Hudson had surgery Tuesday for a clogged artery in his neck, he is at home now and doing good. Only had to stay in hospital one night. NC-C2 Smithfield Connie Eason's funeral Sunday Sept. 27th, Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S. Pollock Street, Selma, NC 17576. Visitation 1:00-2:00, service- 2:00pm to approximately 3:00pm. Connie will be laid to rest across the street from the Parrish Funeral Home at Selma Memorial gardens. Requested attire: black vest, long sleeve shirt, Bolo tie, black pants, alternate attire could be but not limited to chapter vest or any other excepted attire.


NC-C2 Smithfield Connie Eason passed away this morning (September 24th, 2020) around 5 AM. She was a lifetime member that has held many positions in NC-C2 Smithfield. Connie will be missed. NC-C2 Smithfield Mike & Becky Decker (ACD's of C2 Smithfield) eldest son Mike Jr. needs everyone's prayers and positive thoughts sent his way, he fell into a fire pit and was burned very badly. He suffered second & third degree burns on his arms, abdomen,& back. Is currently at UNC Hospital burn Center and has undergone to graft skin to his back. Bill Gaddis, ACD for G2 just got out of the hospital with Covid-19. He will be going into rehab. His son Richie, was taken off respirator last Saturday, looking to recover in time.

July 22, Life time member Mark Quinn lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Mark and Diedra are lifetime members of chapter NC-M2 where he had held officers positions the latest being Rider Educator.

Mark Quinn, visitation on 7/25/2020 from 1:00 to 1:45 at Hendersonville First Baptist Church on Fifth ave. with celebration of life to follow at 2:00 pm.

Mark and Diedra also were the president of the Christian Motorcycle Association in Hendersonville.

July 9, Willie Rainey's wife, Gwen passed away.

Visitation is on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 11:00 12:00 at Thomas Funeral Home located at 20 Epps Lane, Kenbridge, VA.

A grave side service will be held at 1:00 pm at West Hill Baptist Church, 10349 Oral Oaks Road, Victoria, NC


July 14th, A member of T2 lost their son-in-law, Kurt Winchell, passed away from an aneurysm that ruptured.

Their daughter and her family live in North Dakota

July 14th, Eddie Lewis, long time member of C2 Smithfield, is also C2' treasure, is in need of prayers and positive thoughts sent his way.

He is having surgery today to install a shunt/port in his arm for dialysis.

July 14th, Thomas Riley's brother David passed away earlier today after a bout with Cancer.

Connie Easton was to go for back surgery but instead ended up in the hospital for fluid around her lungs and heart, NC-C2.

Allen Hudson heart blockage 2 stints, home doing well, NC-D

 

Bobby Manning, recieved 20 stitches in fingers from a running lawn mower blade accident, NC-D

 

Phil Hendricks and Chuck Rice were in a bike accident, Phil had a broken clavicle in his shoulder, Chuck had 8 broken ribs and a broken collar bone. Chucks bike is beyond repair, Phil's may be too, NC-I.

 

Ron Thompson, had relapse at the end of May he is on new chemo meds, he is back in remission, NC-N
