The GWRRA Ham Radio, Camping, and Lady Riders Special Interest Group are GWRRA programs, which are now part of the Membership Enhancement Division. The SIGs are not designed to compete with the existing GWRRA Programs, but to provide additional ways for members with specific interests to network, ask interest specific questions and add more fun in their GWRRA life and help promote the SIG of their choice. These SIG program's requires "NO" extra membership fees, but does require that you are a GWRRA Member. We will NOT organize independent Ham Radio Chapters, Camping Chapter, or Lady Riders Chapter. Although, we may hold get togethers, camp outs, field day's, rides and forums or info booths at Wings Over the Smokies® or during the other parts of the year.

As with Motorist Awareness, Rider Education, and other fundamental foundations of GWRRA, we want to promote these foundations, but through the unique views of our other interests.

GWRRA Members, interested in the Ham Radio SIG do not have to be licensed HAM's. Those members interested in the Camping SIG do not have to have any ability to camp, but must have an interest in camping.

The Lady Riders SIG is a little different. You do need to be a GWRRA member, a Rider, interested in promoting Motorcycling from a female point of view.
